On World IP Day 2026, InspireIP recognizes Hossein Bassir, co-founder and Chief Product Officer of SprintRay, for helping shape one of the most active patent portfolios in dental 3D printing.

Amir Mansouri, Jasper Jing Zhang, and Hossein Bassir co-found SprintRay after research connected to USC Viterbi. The company launches its early 3D printer work and later pivots toward dentistry.
